Conversation I (2005)
Overview:
An intimate dialogue between mother and daughter in which past decisions, present fears, and expectations for the future are confronted. This conversation emerges from a process in which the director engages with her mother's testimonyâreceived from afar on audio tapesâand contrasts it with her own questions through a journey through family archive footage.
